Hello Cricket lovers! Let’s talk about the nail-biter between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals that went down at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 13, in IPL 2025. WHAT A MATCH IT WAS!

Mumbai Indians came out on top, beating Delhi Capitals by just 12 runs in a super thrilling game! Even though Karun Nair played an absolute blinder smashing 89 off just 40 balls — Delhi couldn’t hold their nerve in the final moments. This was actually DC’s first loss of the season.

Mumbai batted first after DC skipper Axar Patel won the toss and chose to bowl. MI put up a solid 205/5 in their 20 overs. Tilak Varma scored another fifty, his second in a row getting there in just 26 balls. Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir added to the fireworks. Naman especially went hard at the end, scoring 38 off just 17 balls with some cracking shots, three boundaries and two sixes!

Delhi’s bowlers weren’t bad either. Kuldeep Yadav was at his artistic best, and young leggie Vipraj Nigam impressed again, both of them together took four wickets while keeping things tight. Axar Patel even saved a six in the 18th over with some brilliant fielding at long-on!

When it came to the chase, DC looked in the game thanks to Karun Nair’s explosive innings. But Mumbai’s bowlers held their nerve. Karn Sharma picked up 3 crucial wickets for 36 runs, and Mitchell Santner chipped in with 2 for 43.

In the end, MI clinched it by 12 runs — what a match!
