Hello Cricket lovers! What a night it was at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad! Fans barely had time to breathe as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pulled off one of the most thrilling run-chases in IPL history. Chasing a massive 246-run target set by Punjab Kings, SRH made it look easy—winning by 8 wickets with 9 balls to spare. Yes, you read that right—the second-highest successful run chase in IPL history!

And at the center of this insane performance? Abhishek Sharma. The young left-hander went absolutely wild, smashing 141 runs off just 55 balls. His innings included 14 boundaries and 10 sixes, with a strike rate of over 256!

It was aggressive, fearless, and simply beautiful to watch. The Punjab bowlers had no answers, and the crowd was loving every second of it.

SRH got off to a dream start thanks to Travis Head, who also played a brilliant knock of 66 off 37 balls, hitting 9 fours and 3 sixes. Together, Head and Abhishek stitched an incredible 171-run partnership in just 12.2 overs, giving SRH the perfect launchpad for the chase.

But hey, credit to Punjab Kings too, they brought the fire with the bat earlier in the match. Young Priyansh Arya smashed a quick 36 off 13, and Prabhsimran Singh hit 42 off 23. Then came the captain, Shreyas Iyer, who stole the show with a classy 82 off 36 balls. Late cameos from Nehal Wadhera (27 off 22) and Marcus Stoinis (34 off 11)* helped Punjab post a massive 245/6.

SRH bowlers had a rough day, but Harshal Patel managed to pick up 4 wickets (even though he gave away 42 runs), and Eshan Malinga chipped in with two, including a perfect yorker to get rid of Prabhsimran.

But in the end, the night was all about Abhishek Sharma. His fearless hitting, backed by Travis Head’s explosive start and a calm finish from Heinrich Klaasen (21* off 14), helped SRH chase down the target in style.
